It has been long overdue . . . renovating a dicing
saw that incorporates current computer technology coupled with innovative
software engineering to meet and exceed your expectations,
even in a new saw.
We start with the complete
removal of all the hardware on a saw (mechanical and electronics).
The saw is stripped and repainted. Then we add a newly
designed computer, wiring, hoses, electronics, motors, CCD
camera, monitor, black or white dual line reticule generator, our
new high power LED part illuminator tuned for the CCD.
Finally a Color active flat panel touch screen interface is
added. A new saw? Almost. We could replace the frame, air slides
and screws, but then we would have to charge you over $100,000…the
basic cost of a new saw. With about 45k of investment you can have
all the newest advancements in electronics, programming and motor
technology.
Programming and positioning of the (X), Index
(Y), Vertical (Z), and Rotary (Theta) axis is accomplished on the
Color Touch Screen with a user friendly color coded hierarchy tree
intuitive menu. Standard Programming options include:
1. X axis cut rate from .002 to 12 inches per second.
2. Y index variable steps from .000002 to 6 inches.
3. Y indexing with looping. Set 1 index and the software will
automatically calculate the indexing across the rest of the
way of your part.
4. Automatic blade height on setup and during cutting for
blade wear.
5. Manual inspect mode
6. "Soft Stop" Will stop at the end of the cut, raise the
blade and allow inspection of the cuts. Resume will start the cut
again at the stop point.
7. Variable speed on all axis with touch and slide on the
Flat Panel Screen. Decreases setup and inspect times by allowing
infinite speed control with just moving your finger farther away
from the touch button arrow.
